Translation Error

We've lived and worked together for years, traveling outer space. We come from disparate backgrounds, but by now this starship is our home, and these people are our family.

A few weeks ago, though, an electromagnetic storm in the nebula we were passing through took out several of our ship’s systems—including the universal translator we rely on to communicate with each other. Stranded in deep space, with no access to faster-than-light travel and no contact with anyone outside the ship, we’ve had to relearn how to talk to one another from the ground up.

Hopefully, that’ll be enough to keep us alive.
